Building systems that allow organisations to grow beyond individuals.
Cross-border brand building, organisational design and market entry, based in London and working across the UK, Europe and China, focused on building sustainable, governed and human operating models.

About Yan
A systems perspective shaped by experience
Growth becomes fragile when it depends on individuals rather than systems. Across markets, cultures and industries, the same pattern repeats: complexity increases, while decision-making structures often do not.
This perspective was not formed in theory, but under constraint. Repeated exposure to environments defined by limited resources, high uncertainty and cultural complexity made adaptability essential. Over time, this evolved into a discipline of connecting people, aligning incentives and designing structure where none existed.
What began as survival became a systems mindset— turning uncertainty into operating logic rather than reaction.
Working across China, the UK, Europe and the US further sharpened this approach. Each context revealed how easily good intentions fail without governance, and how sustainable growth depends less on speed than on design.
What I Do
I help organisations enter new markets by designing cross-border operating, governance and brand systems that enable growth to remain resilient across cultural contexts, regulatory environments and organisational scale.
